Benjamin J. Preis draws on his background in science, policy, and the public and private sectors to provide analysis, identify opportunities, and advocate for Lewis-Burke clients.
Mr. Preis provides in-depth analysis of federal policy developments in engineering, the physical sciences, and smart cities across the federal government, with a focus on the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, and National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Before joining Lewis-Burke, Mr. Preis gained legislative and science policy experience in the Office of Representative Bill Foster through the American Institute of Physics. Mr. Preis has previously worked with science educators in the Fisher Science Education division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Mr. Preis graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Peace & Justice Studies.
