Deborah O. Wells, Vice President for Finance and Administration, oversees all aspects of the firm’s business operations. As a member of Lewis-Burke’s senior management team, Ms. Wells is responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting; strategic planning and resource allocation; regulatory and ethics compliance including the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act and the Lobbying Disclosure Act; accounting and reporting and accounts payable and payroll.
Ms. Wells brings more than 25 years’ experience and notable expertise in the areas of business development, financial analysis and strategic planning. Prior to joining Lewis-Burke, Ms. Wells held a variety of senior management positions in the private sector including: President of a retail travel agency, Director of an accredited technical training school, Manager of a VIP travel service and Sales Director for a regional restaurant and entertainment firm. A native Kansan, Ms. Wells began her career as a Legislative Aide for Senator Robert Dole.
Ms. Wells has served as a volunteer board member for numerous charitable organizations and has personally volunteered many hours on behalf of youth programs and cancer research. She currently serves as co-chair of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Charity Classic.
Ms. Wells holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The George Washington University.
