Bridget Krieger plays an integral role in the strategic communications between Lewis-Burke clients, staff on Capitol Hill and in federal agencies.  Ms. Krieger understands what makes each client unique and then provides a nuanced approach and the critical guidance necessary to successfully navigate the federal research landscape.  Since joining the firm in 2004, Ms. Krieger has developed a diverse issue portfolio which includes the physical and life sciences; plant biology; energy; agriculture; hazards and infrastructure; urban affairs; and public service.

Ms. Krieger’s agency expertise and responsibilities include the National Science Foundation, Department of Agriculture, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Energy, and the Corporation for National and Community Service.  Ms. Krieger makes significant contributions to clients’ federal advocacy efforts by providing vital intelligence about new avenues of potential funding and new Administration priorities.  Ms. Krieger’s successes include guiding large-scale science projects through the congressional appropriations and oversight process; proposing and drafting legislative language advantageous to clients; and orchestrating congressional and federal advocacy activities to achieve targeted client objectives.  These activities enable clients to be proactive as they face potential policy changes and funding opportunities.

Previously, Ms. Krieger gained government relations experience in the private and public arenas through appointments with Congressman Dennis Moore of Kansas, Labour Party Headquarters in London, and Tulane University.  Ms. Krieger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
