Bridget K. Glynn plays an integral role in the strategic communication between Lewis-Burke Associates LLC clients, staff on Capitol Hill and in federal agencies. Ms. Glynn understands what makes each client unique and then provides a nuanced approach and the critical guidance necessary to navigate the federal research landscape successfully. Since joining the firm in 2004, Ms. Glynn has developed a diverse issue portfolio which includes the life and physical sciences; urban affairs; hazards and infrastructure; STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education; agriculture; energy; and public and community service advocacy.
Using her knowledge of federal agencies - particularly the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture- Ms. Glynn makes significant contributions to clients’ federal advocacy efforts by providing vital information about new avenues of potential funding and new Administration priorities. Ms. Glynn’s success guiding large-scale science projects through the Congressional appropriations and oversight process, drafting and proposing new legislative language advantageous to clients, tracking and relaying ongoing developments on Capitol Hill, in addition to participating in Congressional and federal advocacy activities, enables clients to be proactive as they face potential policy changes and funding opportunities.
Previously, Ms. Glynn gained government relations experience in the private and public arenas through appointments with Congressman Dennis Moore of Kansas, Labour Party Headquarters in London and Tulane University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
