Carla Jacobs provides Lewis-Burke clients with timely and relevant insight into federal agency priorities and processes while at the same time tracking specific legislation, public policy activities, and federal funding opportunities. She demonstrates a capacity for responsive and reliable management of a wide variety of projects for the firm’s clients. Her current portfolio includes issues such as preventive health care, biomedical research, higher education, social work, and workforce development.
Prior to joining Lewis-Burke in 2009, Ms. Jacobs spent time working in both the public and private sectors, including the Pennsylvania district office of Congressman Joe Sestak, the Washington D.C. office of South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson, and the AFL-CIO Business Investment Trust where she worked in marketing and government affairs.
Ms. Jacobs is a graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
