Deborah O. Wells, Vice President for Finance and Administration oversees Lewis-Burke’s day to day business operations. Ms. Wells brings more than 20 years’ experience and notable expertise in the areas of business development, financial analysis, and strategic planning. As a member of the Lewis-Burke management team, Ms. Wells oversees marketing, contracting, financial review and planning, human resources, corporate communications, lobbying disclosure compliance and other business-related operations for the firm
Prior to joining Lewis-Burke, Ms. Wells held a variety of senior management positions in the private sector including President of retail travel agency, Director of an accredited technical training school, Manager of a VIP travel service and Sales Director for a regional restaurant and entertainment firm. She also has experience managing a non-profit volunteer based organization, has served on numerous charitable organizations’ boards and has personally volunteered many hours on behalf of youth programs and cancer research. A native Kansan, Ms. Wells began her career as a legislative aide for Senator Robert Dole. She has served in various capacities on several local, state and national political campaigns.
Ms. Wells holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The George Washington University.
