Wendy A. Naus
Wendy Naus joined Lewis-Burke Associates, LLC in 2004. Her public policy expertise extends to a broad range of issues, including environmental policy, particularly as it relates to ocean and marine research at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF); social policy in the areas of social science and social work education at NSF and throughout the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS); and biomedical research, particularly at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Ms. Naus closely monitors the actions of Congress and federal research agencies as they relate to these areas and participates in advocacy and strategic positioning activities on behalf of Lewis-Burke clients.
Before joining Lewis-Burke, Ms. Naus gained government relations experience from her work at the Buffalo News Washington Bureau in the National Press Building. Ms. Naus holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in both political science and urban studies from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. She is also a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. |
