Senior Health Research Policy Expert Joins Lewis-Burke Associates LLC

Former Legislative Director at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology and Former Senior NIH Staff Member to Provide Clients with Strategic Advice on Health Research Funding and Related Policy Issues

Lewis-Burke Associates, LLC, a leading government relations firm in Washington, D.C., announced today the addition of Jon G. Retzlaff to its team of seasoned policy and government relations experts. Retzlaff, formerly with the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) brings nearly 14 years of health research policy and lobbying experience.

 Retzlaff joins the firm effective February 1, 2008.

 Retzlaff will lead the health and biomedical research practice of the firm, joining Dr. Donna J. Dean, formerly the founding director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, to advise and provide strategic direction and advocacy support to university and research-oriented clients in support of biomedical research and other health-related issues.
